We had a really great experience with Calico Veterinary! Our cat needed all her teeth extracted and Calico Veterinary was great through the whole process. From consultation to surgery they were transparent with costs, needs, and very hands on with us that made our family feel like we were in the best hands. Our cat is now a week + out from her surgery and is healing beautifully. The office has been great about keeping in contact during and after the surgery, answering any questions we had. If your cat needs any dental care, I highly recommend Calico Veterinary.

I was apprehensive about having all my eight year-old cat Zara‘s teeth removed, but she had serious dental disease and several reabsorbed teeth. Dr. Aaron explained that full extraction was in Zara‘s best interest and would spare her inevitable, stressful future cleanings, and extractions. Dr.Erin and her team Calico were warm, caring, and highly competent, and her post surgery check-ins and availability gave me peace of mind. The office has a very peaceful environment, and I was encouraged to bring Zara‘s favorite blanket for use during her post op recovery. Zara healed beautifully and is now happy healthy, and able to eat both wet and dry food. I highly recommend Calico and Dr. Aaron for Feline dental care.

I brought my 15-year-old kitty to Dr. Erin at Calico Veterinary for her second ever dental cleaning. Dr. Abrahams is wonderful. I took my cat to her because she had to have teeth removed. Dr. Erin, E, Isabella and everyone at Calico Veterinary made sure our experience was as smooth as possible. They took excellent care of our Katie (Nina) and Kasper (Payaso). Tons of churus and love were given to our babies during their visits.

Our calico girl needed full mouth extraction, and our creamsicle boy had all his back teeth removed. I was naturally extremely nervous and very hesitant to go ahead with the procedure, but now I am happy to say it was the best decision ever. Our Katie is a new cat! she used to chew off her fur and had goopy eyes at all times! after the extractions, she looks a lot happier and the fur issues completely stopped! We are amazed, and frankly, I feel bad because now I realize she was in so much pain. Our boy took a little longer to bounce back after the surgery, but he is now his normal self, aka a clown!

Dr. Erin and her team are kind and true cat lovers. They patiently explained everything to us and took special care with our babies. They kept us informed throughout the entire surgery, and did follow up via text for a few days after they were sent back home. They are responsive, professional and transparent. Stop your search for a feline specific dentist right now! There is no better choice in Manhattan than Calico. Dr. Erin and her wonderful team managed to tackle a severe tooth infection with my 16 year-old ragdoll. My boy is quite aggressive when handled at the vet. Dr. Erin used such a gentle and kind approach during our pre op appointment. It was like magic when she was able to get all of the preop tasks done without any sedation!! From that moment on, I knew that I had found the right fit.

I was so worried about having him undergo surgery because of his age. His tooth infection got so bad that he developed a huge abscess on his cheek. Not only were they efficient while he was in surgery, but they also did the procedure in a way that would leave him with the least amount of discomfort post surgery.

Afterwards, due to my cats old age, he had a little bit of a rocky recovery, but Dr. Erin and her team were more than responsive over text for every single need and every single question. Even for questions and concerns that were unrelated to his specific dental procedure. (my cat has kidney and heart disease, and pancreatitis)

Now my boy has a lot less teeth, but he is eating, climbing, and more active than he was before I took him in to address these issues. Nothing warms my heart more in this world than encountering professionals who genuinely care about every single patient as if they were their own. I could say wholeheartedly that I would trust Dr. Erin with any dental case. I wish there were more vets and specialists out there like her!!

I was told by my vet that my cat had some teeth that needed to come out that were causing him discomfort. Dr⁩. ⁦Erin⁩⁦ Abrahams had previously performed extractions for both of my cats, with great outcomes. After the consultation, she recommended we remove the rest of his teeth to avoid him having to go under a general anesthetic when he was older and spare him from unnecessary pain as his genetics unfortunately lend to a pre-dispossession for dental issues. The offices were very clean and they treated my cat with so much respect in grace, which I greatly appreciated as he gets very anxious and reactive at the vet. I was of course, very nervous for this procedure and for him to have no teeth. Dr. Abrahams and her team, were so reassuring, kind, and patient with my questions and concerns. During his surgery, the team kept me updated every 30 minutes with messages on the progress and was able to complete the surgery quickly with no complications. During his healing process, her team was in constant contact, making sure that he was comfortable and healing well. I’m so glad that she recommended the procedure to me, as I see a huge positive change in his mood. I cannot recommend Calico Vet enough for how professional and kind all of the staff members are.

I came to Calico from a recommendation from my vet for my cat’s dental surgery that was needed. They were so communicative leading up to the day, on the day of and during the surgery sending me updates throughout the procedure and after the surgery. They checked in for the next few days to see how she’s doing as well as following up a month later. Their attention and care is so genuine and it shows throughout their space and the services they offer. My cat is so much happier now post dental surgery and I’m so glad I went to Calico! I will definitely be coming back for general checkups or questions. Also I love how they offer payment plans, making it so much easier for me to choose how to pay and get the best care for my cat.

Dr. Erin said this wasn’t the case, that it’s a common misdiagnosis in cats. He still needed all of his teeth to come out because they were decaying. I checked around at other places, including other cat dentists and the pricing is equivalent. I was able to do a payment plan through a company they work with, which is affordable and reasonable. Everything went so well! They made it a breeze. My cat was adopted from the ACC shelters from a hoarding case, so he’s borderline feral and doesn’t let anyone see or touch him. Dr. Erin handled him with ease! I was very impressed & relieved. The best vet experience I’ve ever had! I will be back! Dr. Erin is so knowledgeable. Everyone on the team is attentive and the office is clean and calm. Thank you so much!
