Veterinarian Erin Abrahams, DVM, founded Calico on the heels of a highly successful referral-based dental service she launched in 2022 to provide cats, cat caregivers, and referring veterinarians with the highest-quality feline dental care. With her extensive experience in feline-only dentistry and an intuitive understanding of how cats perceive the world, Dr. Abrahams brings a level of expertise and empathy that many cat caregivers may not realize they and their cats need -until they experience it firsthand.

This can mean taking short breaks, enlisting a favorite treat (did someone say Churu?), or discussing light sedation to safely complete our exam. In rare cases, we may stop and devise a plan with stress-reducing medication prior to a second visit.
